VATSorted is designed as a local-first VAT document preparation tool. The app runs on your own computer and creates review folders locally.
What VATSorted does
VATSorted helps UK businesses collect, sort, review, and export VAT-related documents. It is not accounting, tax advice, or VAT filing software.
Document processing
VATSorted processes documents on your own computer. Your VAT documents, invoices, statements, and review folders are intended to remain on your machine unless you choose to send or export them elsewhere.
Email access
Email scanning is optional. If you connect Gmail or Outlook, VATSorted uses that access to find and download VAT-related attachments for review. Manual upload remains available if you prefer not to connect email.
Information you may provide to us
If you request early access, contact support, or become a customer, we may receive information such as your name, email address, business name, plan, support messages, and payment status.
Payments
Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe. VATSorted does not need to store your full card details.
Support
If you contact support, we may use the information you provide to respond to your request, diagnose issues, and improve VATSorted.
Cookies and analytics
At this early-access stage, VATSorted aims to keep tracking minimal. If analytics or marketing cookies are added later, this policy should be updated.
